Week 2 Reading Overview
Given the two different versions of the Ramayana epic, I think that I’d prefer to read the Public Domain version because its free to read online as well as having various styles and authors to read from. I’ve always liked things being authentic, so I don’t mind reading something that’s old-fashioned. Instead, I think that I’d enjoy that much more.
The two comic books that I chose included “Ganesha: The Remover of All Obstacles” and “Tales of Durga: Tales of the Mother.” I chose to read about Ganesha because I’ve always been interested in the story of how Ganesha becomes who he is now. I also would like to read about Durga because I would like to learn more about the goddess.
For the two videos, I picked “Stages of Life” and “Purushartha- The Four Aims of Life.” Since I like learning about people, I found these two videos really interesting.
